Thank you. My name is Pastor Misraku Torno. I am a coordinator of the evening program for Addis Ababa Bible College. And I teach Amharic in colleges. I also teach in the diploma program. While reading this commentary, especially the third volume, by our brother Adiamseged, my attention was drawn to one important point. And I would like to share this important point.
The important point is that Jesus Christ is above all. He is above the prophets. He is above the priests. It is a book that says Jesus is superior to all.
From chapter 1 to 9, the book teaches about who Jesus is, and how He was revealed in the books of the Old Testament while chapter 10 to 13 shows people how they can live worthy of Jesus Christ. The book is full of edifying teachings for spiritual growth.
It takes a lot of hard work and commitment to write a commentary on the letter to the Hebrews. It requires studying various books and digging deep. Adiamseged has dedicated himself to this extensive study and devoted his time to compiling what he has learned through years of exploration. He has produced three big volumes out of one small book in the bible. I believe that these volumes of commentary will come in handy as a valuable tool for teaching.
Writing these volumes shows how much Adiamseged has dedicated himself to the service of God. It also shows that the writer is concerned about the spiritual welfare of coming generations. This commentary is a rich resource for teaching the bible. It contains lots of biblical references.
I have not read volumes one and two but I have gone through volume three. I have come across lots of ideas that are helpful for personal, and spiritual growth as well as a reference for those who are in the teaching ministry. Therefore I recommend it to all kinds of people and as a reference to bible students.
