My name is Melakeselam Bogale, I am Spiritual coordinator and I am also a Pastor serving on Gospel Light Church (Pastor Daniel Mekonnen) Good afternoon. Blessed be the name of the Lord our God. I praise God for this opportunity. I would like to say congratulations to Adiamseged and to Yodit. Dr. Weyta has shared some commented on the book of Hebrews. And I have gone through Ephesians. The apostle John said, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched – this we proclaim to concerning the word of life”. I saw Adiamseged for the first time at the meeting of the Evangelical Churches Fellowship. To be honest, I am not very familiar with his ministry. Temesegen gave me the book on Ephesians so that I would comment on it. I have read the book and let me share a little from what I have read. I have read many bible commentaries in Amharic. I am not exaggerating when I say that there is no other bible commentary which is so well written in Amharic by an Ethiopian author. This comment is based on the books I have read. There may be other books which I have not read. But among the books which I have read, I have not seen any which is so well done. I will briefly share what I have found in the book. Our brother gives a good background of the Ephesians in his book. And he has presented not just his own understanding only but has also made references to the commentaries of many of our brothers which are abroad. He has explained to us the most basic doctrines of Christianity. A lot is being said in our country nowadays about false prophets and heretic teachings. I don’t think fighting each other will do us any good. Rather, we should equip our congregations with the correct teaching of the scriptural truths. And books like those written by our brother Adiamseged are very helpful for teaching bible truths. Our brother Adiamseged has also raised the issue of the prosperity teaching which is spreading in our country. He has presented to us a balanced, scriptural teaching about prosperity. As we all know, there are many brothers and sisters in our country who cannot read and understand English books. This book is very helpful to such people. May God richly bless our brother Adiamseged. I believe this book is a great blessing to the church in Ethiopia. Before closing my speech – when Pastor Solomon Abebe was launching the book “Yetekoresu Nefsoch” in the church where I am ministering, he said, “After you buy and read this book, if you think that the books is not worth the money you invested on it, you can find my address on the last page of the book. Contact me and I will refund your money.” Now I stand here on behalf of Adiamseged and say, after you take this book, if you feel that the book is not worth the money you spent on it, not Adiamseged but I will refund your money. Thank you and God bless you.
